Brad has been actively involved in civic and community initiatives related to design

Brad’s vast design experience has covered a wide variety of project types, ranging from the restoration of National Landmark Frank Lloyd Wright properties, to film facilities, corporate headquarters, museums, houses, and high-rise mixed-use buildings. Over the last twenty-six years, his role as Design Principal on those projects has consistently produced buildings and interiors whose beauty is a function of their restraint: spare, elegant structures that manipulate light, space, and a simple material palette to create architecture of unusual grace that remains within remarkably modest budgets.

Beyond commercial and private projects, Brad has been actively involved in civic and community initiatives related to design. This includes creating a sustainable planning initiative for an Atlantic rain forest city in Brazil; designing a community development with Global Green in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; designing for the Near Westside Initiative in Syracuse, New York; and the planning of a new transportation hub for Chinatown in Chicago.
